Welcome to the refund rules of DesignTemplate.io. Our platform connects customers with authors who sell digital goods, such as designs and templates. Because digital items cannot be physically returned, our refund policy is crafted with this in mind. Please note that these rules apply to all authors and customers and are in addition to any local laws on refunds that may apply to you.
Before Requesting a Refund from an Author
If you encounter technical issues with an item you've purchased from our “Designs and Templates” or “Graphics Design” categories on the Design Template Market, we encourage you to first contact the item's author for assistance. Authors can often help troubleshoot and resolve your issues.
Conditions for Requesting Refunds from Authors
We recognize that there may be instances where the author is unable to resolve your issue, or a refund may be justified. Here are scenarios where a refund might be warranted:
- Item Not as Described or Malfunctions : If an item doesn’t function as promised or differs significantly from its description or preview, the author is required to fix the issue promptly by updating the item. If the issue remains unresolved or the item is confirmed to be "not as described," you are entitled to a refund.
- Items Not Downloaded : If you haven’t downloaded a purchased item within 1 month from the date of purchase, you may be eligible for a refund. Proof of non-download, such as a purchase code, may be required for verification by the author.
Refund Processing Time
Once a refund request is approved, we will process your refund within 5-7 working days. The amount will be credited back to your bank account within this timeframe, depending on your bank's processing time.
2-Day Return Policy
In addition to the above conditions, we offer a straightforward 2-day return policy from the date of purchase for any digital items, provided they have not been downloaded. This policy is designed to give you peace of mind immediately after your purchase. To initiate a 2-day return, please contact the author with your purchase details.
